Esther: It's quiet and homy. That's what we noticed when we entered Knorretje for the first time. We chose deliberately for a small scale childcare centre, with the same staff. That offers a lot of safety. In bigger childcare centres you often see children leaving crying at the end of the day. I have never had this experience at Knorretje. It's possible for my child to eat a meal in Knorretje that I have brought beforehand. When we have to cook after work, there is no stress for my child nor us. That's a big plus!
Marion en Freddy: We have been part of the 'family' at Knorretje for over 6 years. Our eldest daughter is in primary school; our youngest has one more year to look forward to in Knorretje. The moment we crossed the doorstep of Knorretje, we felt it was what we wanted. A sense of feeling at home. It's cozy and organized and the staff is really involved. A childcare centre, in the middle of our neighborhood and with an enclosed garden where they can play. What else do we want! As a lot of children of the neighborhood attend at Knorretje, it's very well possible that they will go to the same primary school, and even the same class. Our eldest daughter still plays with former childcare friends.Since Knorretje has renovated there is a special room for the elder children of the vertical group. Sometimes they can play in their own room, at other times they join the group again. This way they get the best of both worlds. Only one more year, then our youngest daughter will attend primary school. Until then we can enjoy our time at 'Knor'.
